Cat farts
I was just sitting around watching "Nell" with my 2 cats (Sissy and Bear) and Prince, when Sissy let off a SBD and about killed me! She didn't even wake up! At least when Mister blows one out in his sleep, he chuckles...
It's my Friday off, and I've done the grocery gig already. I need to get gas in the car, and I know that as I procrastinate, the price will go up........still, I think the air has cleared in the livingroom, so I'll finish watching "Nell" before I go.
Mister got me a portable XM system for Christmas. :-) Like my Dad, I'm a nut for radios, flashlights too, if you want to go that far. Tomorrow we're going to Best Buy to have them install the car portion in my car. I can bring the unit into the house, hook it up to the Bose in the bedroom, and listen to Coast to CoastAM with George Noorey tonight before he gets home from work. Yeah!! I love Coast to CoastAM
Yes, I did still want the carriage ride and steak dinner......but this is way cool! I always said no when he'd ask about it because I knew what it costs.....not because I didn't want one. You did good Mister! I got him a book of Mike's Carwash coupons, a Zoo Book, and as a combination Christmas, Birthday (he'll be 57 in January), and Anniversary (16 in Feb.) gift.......a trip for 2 in a hot air ballon. He saw an ad for it in the paper and mentioned how he'd always wanted to do that. Been with the guy for 18 years and I never knew that!! Heck, he's afraid of heights, so I NEVER even would have thought about that. Maybe I did good too.... Hope so.
The "lay-off" thing starts 1/3/2006, but with a twist. He's to report to a job bank every day, in the cafeteria of his work. He's to sit on his butt for 8 hours a day, and if someone needs some menial crappy job done, they get him to do it. 5 other guys will be there too. The other96 or so people took the option of the full "lay-off". I don't totally understand his reasoning, except that during those 90 days of the "lay-off", he and the fab 5 will earn leave, while those who are sitting in their livingrooms watching Jerry Springer, Don't. If I didn't know about the balloon, what makes me think that I can figure out why he's chose the way he has?
